A ferry ride to Ocracoke Island is an exciting way to tour the Outer Banks. The southern area of the North Carolina coast offers Atlantic Beach, Beaufort and Wilmington.

Central North Carolina offers big cities like Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro. Many events take place in North Carolina. There will always be something of interest going on in and around the state. The annual North Carolina State Fair takes place every October in Raleigh at the state fairgrounds. Sporting events, concerts, entertainment, hockey, football any many other sporting events both professional and collegiate are popular.
